6 months today

I am 6 months out today :)

I am down 86 pounds!

no mini goals at the moment

I am reached my second goal of 160 on May 12

I have 18 pounds left to go to get to Goal

I wear a size 10 jeans but they are getting loose..

and my BMI has gone from 41.8 to 27.1

Extremely obese to Overweight

All in all I dont care if I dont lose another pound, everything I've ever wanted to be able to do I can do.. I love being able to go into a store and find my size in anything I chose and not worrying if its too tight or makes me look bad.. I wear dresses and skirts.. which I have never done unless I had to.. 

My husband piggy backed me around the house for the first time ever it was a thrilling experience and nice for him to say that I am light as a feather, I better be careful or I will blow away haha.. 

I eat whatever I want without any problems, I dont eat rice or noodles because they fill me up to much.. I can however eat sushi rolls with no problem I can have about 2-3 of those.. I also dont eat many sweets.. Sunflower seeds are still and have become more of an addiction of mine.. and I am also now addicted to Thrift stores It has been my best friend while losing the weight..

The weight loss has slowed a lot.. but I am not complaining at all.. I am the happiest I have been in a looooooong time :)

Cupcakes!

So I entered a contest at Decorate This and I won!

I will receive:

• 1 dozen handmade pinwheel cupcake wrappers
• 1 dozen handmade flower cupcake wrappers
• 4 extra large piping tips
• 1 heavy duty 16" piping bag
• 1 cupcake dummy for practicing
• A variety of sprinkles and sugars for decorating!

I am so excited, and it was perfect timing because I am dabbling into baking, Vanessa is getting older I know I will be making more treats and snacks as the years go by so I need to sharpen my skills..

Nailin' Thursdays

I want to start Nailin Thursday's

I am getting into doing my nails more, so when I do decide to re do them I will post something on the following Thursday.. I am also in the process of buying everything I need *professional* to do acrylic nails I think when its all said and done I will probably spend about a good $300..

So far I received

This is just to get me started, theres a #08 brush I really want to get but it made more sense to get a whole pack of brushes then just 1 single brush at the moment

I decided to go with a tiger pattern and some glitter, my friend Monica thought I put decals on my fingers it was funny.. I guess that means I did a good job..

Weekend fun!

So Happy Belated Mother's Day to all the Mom's, My Bday was on Mother's day we celebrated Friday night with a huge BBQ and all my neighbors came :) I was so happy.. There was roughly about 20 people there not including everyone's kids, Everyone sang Happy Birthday to me it was so embarrassing! The dress I wore looked like this one:

I ended up sewing the front closed a little more because it was really revealing lol

My dad sent me money to buy the camera I have been wanting for my Birthday I am getting my first DSLR Nikon D13000 (or Nokia inside joke with Ash)

I just got a message it shipped today I am so excited for it to get here It will probably take a few weeks since were in Germany. 

 These are some of the people I hang out with every weekend, we have a fire, BBQ and have a few drinks

Cooking Tuesday

Black Pepper Mustard Vinagerette

1/4 C white rice vinegar (or white vinegar)
1/2 C Olive oil
1/4 tsp of kosher salt (regular or sea salt will work)
3 Tbsp of Honey
2 Tbsp of Brown Mustard
1 Tbsp of black pepper
chopped up green onions (Optional) 

Mix all together, I microwaved it for 20 second to help it blend better.. 

Drizzled all over the chicken.. OMG TO DIE FOR.. lol

BBQ Spice Rub

2tbsp Brown sugar (I used Dark & Light 4tbs) you don't have to
2 tsp paprika
2 tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp ground black pepper..

mix it all up I coated boneless chicken and baked at 350 for 20 minutes uncovered
